Speed & Strength: The Combination of Champions


The Norwin Speed & Strength Academy is designed to give our area athletes the opportunity to gain a competitive edge through affordable, state of the art, year round sports performance training. Athletes begin our Speed Training Program at age 8. Add the Strength Training Program at age 12.

NSSA Speed Program & Strength Program Goals
  • Provide area athletes with a disciplined, year round, professional Speed and Strength program
  • Create a consistent training and work ethic that will be used throughout the athlete’s career
  • Decrease 20-, 40- and 60- yard dash times by .2-.4 seconds or more
  • Increase vertical leap by 2-6 inches
  • Increase agility, quickness, first step explosion, and lateral movement
  • Increase flexibility and core strength
  • Increase individual self-esteem and confidence
  • Reduce the risk of sports injuries
